Pinterest Ban & Digital Erasure :
A Community Survey
This survey aims to document a specific wave of Pinterest suspensions and the experiences surrounding them.
For many, these weren’t just accounts; they were archives of creative research, inspiration, and years of personal or professional work.
Through this survey, we’re gathering both personal testimonies and broader patterns. The goal is to better understand what was lost, how it impacts creative and online expression, and what this tells us about the state of digital spaces today.
We need data — not to quantify grief, but to recognize it.
As a record. As a tool. As a way to say: this matters.
The survey is open to anyone affected, all responses are optional and can remains anonymous.
Contact / Get In Touch
Burnt Digital Pages is merely at its wake. The future of this project is still uncertain, and it may shift through time.
For any inquiries, thoughts, or if you have information to share on the subject, feel free to reach out via email. An Instagram account is currently in the works, and will eventually serve as a space for updates and connection.
If you’ve taken the survey, you’ve already done so much — thank you. But if you’d like to share this site or the survey with others, especially those also in digital exile, please do.
Sincerely, from the warmth of our ashes
Burnt Digital Pages
